Paraíso Travel cambia la historia de la producción del cine colombiano, utilizando buen sonido, cámaras de buena resolución, diversidad de locaciones evitando que se limite la historia, excelente maquillaje y un muy buen casting, con lo cual se realiza una gran adaptación de la novela de Jorge Franco
Cuenta la historia de una pareja de clase media de Medellín, que llega a New York tras una serie de vicisitudes en Colombia, Guatemala, México, y Usa. La inmigración como un ambiente común, pero narrando una historia de amor, de desesperación y de miedo, que siente Marlon (Aldemar Correa) mientras busca a su novia Reina (Angélica Blandón) de quién se separa tras un suceso inesperado y absurdo. Durante la búsqueda, Marlon se da cuenta que no solo es a Reina a quién tiene que encontrar. La historia es fuerte, contada sin amarillismo, adornada pero sin perder su esencia.
Una actuación natural de los debutantes Aldemar Correa y Angélica Blandón (quizás el más grande acierto del director), destacada actuación de Vicky Rueda y Jhon Leguízamo, y sorprendente de Margarita Rosa de Francisco quien se lleva todos los aplausos. Por cierto, Ana de la Reguera es espectacular, por mi parte voy inmediatamente a IMDB a buscar sus películas.
La canción original compuesta para la película, muestra un Fonseca que debería dejar el tropi y dedicarse al pop, espectacular.
Para poner atención y aprender, el plano secuencia inicial, engancha totalmente al público. Realmente la graduación como director de Simon Brand.

Celebro que haya dejado atrás esa apatía que se adueñaba de su faceta blogger. Siempre he tendido mis reservas sobre el cine nacional (no es el tema) sin embargo la sinapsis ha capturado mi atención tendré encuenta “Paraiso Travel” para la próxima; confió en su minuciosa descripción. Perdón, no le interesa escribir historias urbanas, me parece que también le puede ir bien, noto cierta fluidez en sus escritura que me gusta. Por último Sr Blogger Los tres asteriscos (estrellas) significan………???????.
